How do I search for a date?
You can do a simple basic search on the front page of the site. Just gender, age and location are the criteria and everyone – free and subscribed members – can use this search. The results will show the people who fit your requirements – with their photos and details. Click on any name to view a full profile. Found someone you like? Upgrade to a subscribed membership so that you can send them an email or instant message. To search through all the members of the site, go to search at the top of any page on the site. You can customize your search by going to preferences and choosing the characteristics of the type of people you'd like to meet. The characteristics you can select from include gender, height, marital status, education, religion, ethnicity, smoking and drinking habits, location and many more. Try a variety of searches - you never know where you'll find your perfect match!
How are search results ordered?
By default, all search results are in date order displaying the people who have most recently joined at the top of the page. You can change the way search results are displayed by choosing one of the other options displayed - newest members, most popular members, most active members.
Can I still search the site as a Standard Member?
Of course, please feel free to do as many searches as you wish. You can subscribe at any time and start sending messages to any other members you want to contact.
Why am I not getting very many search results?
There are several ways to increase the number of search results you receive. Check the basic criteria in your search. Is your search radius too narrow? Is your age range too tight?
Remember the more boxes you tick the narrower you are making your search and fewer people will be displayed. If you wish to include all variables then simply leave them blank. You don't need to tick them all.
How do I change the matches I'm getting in my default search?
To change the matches that show up in your default search, change your preferences in Search > My search options and then click search again.
How do I view my matches?
Click on the name of the member to view a full profile. If you find someone you like why not subscribe so that you can send an email or instant message.
